It is best to start by following the tasks, that way you get resource bonuses really fast. The size of your army is much more important than fame after reaching lvl 6-7. Also when being attacked and cannot defend, just put your resources on the market, much overpriced so they don't get sold and after the attack passes, just cancel the sale. Android Age of Empire Game : How to use Arena

Here we will share some help about the most confusing feature - 'Arena'

1.  Arena is a place where you can earn a good amount of resource every day.
2. First build a good army and assign to the heroes.
3. Now open the Arena and add all your heroes to the arena and click 'Save'.
4. Now click on any top 5 icons to challenge the other players.
5. Now a fight will happen and if you win, you will get some rewards in form of 200-200 resources of each type.
6. You can also earn Copper coins from the arena by clicking on the button 'Get Rank awards'. But you need to wait for few hours to click on it again.
